SuperD! Friends is a fun, safe, and supportive space for kids with Learning Differences (ages 7-12). Sessions will be about 45 minutes. Facilitators will be older mentors with LD, Emma and SuperD show cast members. The sessions take a strengths-based approach and encourage community support to build kids' self-esteem. Each session will include:
- icebreakers
- community building-games
- a SuperD! show episode
- discussion about episode
Social and Emotional themes we focus on are: confidence, self-advocacy, bullying, and growth mindset.
Once you register you will receive a confirmation email with a zoom link. Pay what you can pricing on a sliding scale goes directly towards sustaining the facilitation, outreach, and expansion of these groups.

About the facilitators:
Emma has dyslexia, ADHD and dyscalculia. She studied biology at Columbia University and is going to UCLA medical school next year. She is currently completing a yearlong training in Mindfulness Facilitation at UCLA's Mindfulness Awareness Research Center.
Maria has dyslexia, ADHD, and dysgraphia. She is a junior in college studying psychology and plays on her school's tennis team. She shares her experience with LD on her youtube channel Beautifully Backward.
